PUBLIKAINDONESIA.COM, JAKARTA – Upaya peredaran narkotika kembali digagalkan aparat kepolisian. Dua pria berinisial A dan B ditangkap jajaran Polres Metro Jakarta Timur karena kedapatan membawa ganja seberat 9 kilogram dalam sebuah mobil saat melintas di kawasan Cipinang, Jumat (4/7/2025).
Penangkapan dilakukan dalam patroli rutin sekitar pukul 03.00 WIB. Petugas mencurigai gerak-gerik kendaraan yang melaju dari arah Bogor menuju Jakarta. Setelah dihentikan dan diperiksa, ditemukan beberapa paket ganja yang dikemas rapi di dalam bagasi.
“Modusnya adalah menggunakan mobil pribadi dengan muatan ganja yang dibungkus plastik hitam. Ini merupakan hasil pengembangan dari jaringan Sumatera–Jakarta,” ujar Kapolres Metro Jaktim Kombes Pol Nicolas Ary Lilipaly saat konferensi pers.
Ia menegaskan bahwa kedua tersangka bukan pemain baru dalam jaringan narkotika lintas provinsi. Diduga mereka telah beberapa kali menyelundupkan ganja dalam jumlah besar.
Barang bukti berupa 9 kilogram ganja, dua ponsel, dan satu unit mobil kini diamankan untuk keperluan penyidikan. Polisi juga tengah memburu satu orang lainnya yang diduga berperan sebagai pengendali pengiriman dari luar Jakarta.
“Kasus ini akan terus dikembangkan karena kami curiga ini bukan pengiriman satu kali. Kami juga akan menyisir distribusi dan tujuan pengedaran ganja tersebut,” imbuh Nicolas.
Kasus ini menambah panjang daftar penyelundupan narkoba yang berhasil digagalkan aparat selama semester pertama 2025.
