PUBLIKAINDONESIA.COM, KOTABARU – Setelah dilakukan pencarian intensif, operator alat berat yang tercebur ke Sungai Jupi akhirnya ditemukan dalam keadaan meninggal dunia.
Korban diketahui bernama Suparno, operator excavator Komatsu PC.70 tipe amfibi, yang mengalami kecelakaan kerja pada Jumat pagi, 23 Mei 2025.
Peristiwa ini terjadi sekitar pukul 08.05 WITA. Menanggapi laporan tersebut, tim gabungan dari Sat Polairud Polres Kotabaru, Sat Reskrim, Sat Sabhara, Polsek Pulau Laut Utara, Lanal, Basarnas, BPBD Kotabaru, serta warga sekitar langsung bergerak melakukan pencarian dari lokasi kejadian hingga ke arah muara laut.
Dengan menggunakan perahu karet, speed boat, dan perahu kelotok milik warga, tim akhirnya berhasil menemukan korban pada koordinat 3°18’50.87″S – 116°9’39.85″E atau sekitar 500 meter dari lokasi awal kejadian.
Jenazah Suparno segera dievakuasi menggunakan ambulans BPK Stagen ke rumah sakit terdekat.
Usai proses evakuasi, tim SAR gabungan melaksanakan debriefing dan evaluasi akhir operasi sebelum dinyatakan selesai dan kembali ke kesatuan masing-masing.
Pihak kepolisian menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih kepada seluruh elemen yang terlibat dalam proses pencarian ini, dan berharap keluarga korban diberikan ketabahan menghadapi musibah tersebut.
