PUBLIKAINDONESIA.COM, KABUPATEN BANJAR – Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Kabupaten Banjar gelar Apel Siaga Bencana Banjir, Gelombang Pasang Laut, Tanah Longsor dan Angin Puting Beliung tahun 2024, di halaman kantornya, Selasa (5/11/2024) pagi.
Kegiatan apel dipimpin Sekretaris Daerah Kabupaten Banjar HM Hilman dan diikuti personil TNI/Polri, BPBD, Dishub, Satpol PP, Damkar, Ormas dan para relawan. Berbagai sarana dan prasarana pendukung operasi SAR juga ikut digelar.
Sekda Banjar HM Hilman mengatakan musim penghujan telah tiba, bersama dengan itu meningkat pula risiko bencana seperti banjir, tanah longsor, angin puting beliung serta gelombang pasang laut (rob) yang berpotensi terjadi dibeberapa wilayah di Kabupaten Banjar.
Oleh karena itu lanjutnya, kesiapsiagaan menjadi kunci utama dalam upaya mitigasi serta penyelamatan.
“Kita harus bersinergi dalam menghadapi potensi bencana ini. Pemerintah daerah bersama TNI/Polri serta seluruh elemen masyarakat harus bergerak cepat dan sigap. Langkah langkah preventif seperti pemetaan daerah rawan, penyediaan posko siaga, serta edukasi masyarakat mengenai tanda-tanda awal bencana tidak boleh kita abaikan,” terangnya.
Tak lupa Hilman juga menekankan pentingnya kolaborasi dan gotong royong. Dalam menghadapi bencana masyarakat diharapkan tetap waspada, menghindari lokasi berisiko dan mengikuti arahan dari pihak berwenang.
“Diharapkan dari apel siaga ini menjadi momentum kita semua untuk lebih tanggap, peduli dan siap menghadapi berbagai tantangan alam. Insya allah dengan kesiapan fisik, mental dan sarana prasarana yang dimiliki kita mampu meminimalisir dampak bencana alam yang mungkin terjadi,” tutupnya.
