PUBLIKAINDONESIA.COM, BARITO KUALA – Pemerintah Kabupaten Barito Kuala (Batola) mulai mempersiapkan diri untuk menjadi tuan rumah Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur’an (MTQ) tingkat Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan tahun 2026. Komitmen ini ditegaskan langsung oleh Bupati H. Bahrul Ilmi saat membuka secara resmi MTQ ke-56 tingkat Kabupaten Batola, yang digelar di Kecamatan Mandastana pada Jumat (22/08/2025).
Bupati menekankan pentingnya kesiapan dari sekarang untuk menyambut ajang tingkat provinsi tersebut. MTQ ke-56 ini juga menjadi sarana strategis untuk menyeleksi potensi kafilah dari 17 kecamatan yang akan mewakili Batola di ajang MTQ Kalsel.
“Semua cabang lomba yang dipertandingkan akan kita perhatikan sepenuhnya. Sejak sekarang kita harus benar-benar menjaga persiapan,” ujar Bupati Bahrul Ilmi dalam sambutannya.
MTQ ke-56 ini diikuti 429 peserta, dengan 12 cabang lomba yang dipertandingkan di tujuh lokasi berbeda, dan akan berlangsung selama empat hari, dari tanggal 22 hingga 25 Agustus 2025.
Dalam acara pembukaan, Bupati juga menyampaikan apresiasi kepada masyarakat, para camat, kepala desa, serta tokoh agama yang telah berpartisipasi dan menunjukkan semangat luar biasa.
“Kita baru saja menyaksikan parade kafilah dari 17 kecamatan, di mana para camat, kepala desa, tokoh agama, dan masyarakat menunjukkan antusiasme dan semangat yang luar biasa,” katanya.
Sementara itu, Ketua Umum LPTQ Batola, H. Zulkipli Yadi Noor, menyampaikan terima kasih atas dukungan semua pihak sehingga kegiatan ini dapat terlaksana. Ia berharap MTQ ini dapat menjadi sarana untuk terus membumikan nilai-nilai Al-Qur’an di tengah masyarakat.
“Semoga kegiatan ini menjadi sarana untuk terus membumikan Al-Qur’an di Batola, sesuai dengan tagline Barito Kuala Satu,” ungkapnya.
Acara pembukaan berlangsung meriah dan dihadiri berbagai pejabat daerah, termasuk Ketua Tim Penggerak PKK, Wakil Bupati dan istri, Wakil Ketua DPRD, serta Sekda. Turut hadir pula pimpinan BUMN/BUMD, perbankan, dan tokoh agama. Ribuan warga Kecamatan Mandastana juga memadati lokasi acara sebagai bentuk dukungan dan kecintaan terhadap kegiatan keagamaan ini.
