Dalam sebuah wawancara santai di kanal YouTube Astro, pemain berusia 27 tahun itu menyebut nasi goreng sebagai makanan favoritnya sejak kecil. “Benar, nasi goreng adalah makanan favorit saya. Saya sering makan nasi goreng buatan nenek saya. Dia membuat nasi goreng terbaik,” ungkap Reijnders sambil tersenyum.
Tak hanya itu, meskipun kini menyandang status sebagai atlet profesional, Reijnders mengaku masih sesekali menyantap hidangan khas Indonesia tersebut. Baginya, nasi goreng tak hanya lezat, tetapi juga bisa menjadi sumber energi yang baik untuk pemain bola.
“Mungkin karena nasi goreng saya bisa berada di sini,” canda eks pemain AC Milan itu.
Selain nasi goreng, Reijnders juga menyebut soto dan ikan rica-rica pedas sebagai dua makanan Indonesia lainnya yang tak kalah menggugah selera. Dua menu ini, katanya, sering dibuat oleh sang ibu dan nenek saat ia masih tinggal di Belanda.
“Makanan kesukaan kedua saya adalah soto. Satu lagi, saya lupa namanya, makanan itu berbahan ikan. Oh ya, rica-rica,” ujarnya.
Dukung Timnas Indonesia Tembus Piala Dunia
Tak hanya soal makanan, Reijnders juga menyampaikan dukungannya untuk Timnas Indonesia yang tengah berjuang di Kualifikasi Piala Dunia 2026. Ia berharap skuad Garuda bisa menembus turnamen terbesar dunia itu, apalagi jika harus berhadapan langsung dengan adiknya, Eliano Reijnders, yang juga pesepakbola profesional.
“Saya menonton semua pertandingan Timnas Indonesia di Kualifikasi Piala Dunia 2026. Saya berharap mereka sukses. Mereka punya kesempatan yang bagus dan akan jadi mimpi yang nyata jika berhadapan dengan adik saya di Piala Dunia,” pungkasnya.
