PUBLIKAINDONESIA.COM, PALANGKA RAYA – Aksi pencurian yang berujung kegagalan terjadi di sebuah minimarket di kawasan Jalan Rajawali Km 4, Kota Palangka Raya, pada Kamis malam (15/5/2025) sekitar pukul 20.27 WIB. Seorang pria yang diduga hendak mencuri di Indomaret ketahuan saat berada di area lift barang toko.
Pelaku yang belum diketahui identitasnya itu langsung kabur terbirit-birit begitu dipergoki oleh karyawan toko yang sigap dan berteriak memergoki aksinya.
Saking paniknya, pelaku bahkan meninggalkan sepeda motor jenis Honda Scoopy warna merah tanpa pelat nomor yang digunakannya untuk datang ke lokasi.
Beberapa karyawan dan warga sekitar sempat berusaha mengejar pelaku. Namun, upaya tersebut tidak membuahkan hasil karena pelaku berhasil melarikan diri dengan berjalan kaki, memanfaatkan situasi malam hari dan keramaian.
Tak berselang lama, petugas gabungan dari SPKT dan piket fungsi Polresta Palangka Raya yang dipimpin oleh Wakasat Reskrim tiba di lokasi.
Polisi langsung melakukan olah tempat kejadian perkara (TKP), mengumpulkan keterangan dari para saksi, serta mengamankan motor yang ditinggalkan pelaku sebagai barang bukti.
Hingga saat ini, polisi masih memburu pelaku dan mendalami rekaman CCTV untuk mengungkap identitas dan motif pencurian tersebut.
