PUBLIKAINDONESIA.COM – Menteri Agama Nasaruddin Umar hari ini, Sabtu (23/11/2024), bertolak ke Arab Saudi. Menag memenuhi undangan Menteri Haji Tawfiq F Al Rabiah, sekaligus akan membahas persiapan operasional haji 1446 H/2025 M.
Bersama Menag, Kepala Badan Penyelenggara Haji (BP Haji) Mochamad Irfan Yusuf. Ikut mendampingi Menag, Direktur Jenderal Penyelenggaraan Haji dan Umrah Hilman Latief dan Direktur Layanan Haji Luar Negeri Subhan Cholid.
Menurut Menag Nasaruddin, melalui surat undangan yang diterimanya, Menteri Haji dan Umrah Tawfiq F Al Rabiah menyampaikan ucapan selamat atas pelantikan Menteri Agama yang baru. Menteri Tawfiq juga mengundang untuk membicarakan pelaksanaan haji 1446 M/2025 H.
“Banyak hal yang akan dibicarakan. Di Saudi, akan ada perubahan-perubahan (dalam pelaksanaan haji) yang berbeda dengan tahun-tahun sebelumnya dan ini perlu diketahui lebih awal, itu akan dibicarakan nanti,” terang Menag di Jakarta, Sabtu (23/11/2024).
“Sepulang dari Saudi, akan kita sampaikan tentang perlunya penyesuaian-penyesuaian kebijakan kita bersama Kepala BP Haji,” sambungnya.
Ada sejumlah agenda Menag selama di Saudi. Selain bertemu Menteri Haji dan Umrah, Menag akan menggelar rapat dengan jajaran Kantor Urusan Haji (KUH) pada Konsulat Jenderal Republik Indonesia (KJRI) di Jeddah.
“Kita akan padatkan acara sehingga lebih efisien dan efektif dan segera kembali untuk menyelesaikan langkah-langkah berikutnya di Tanah Air,” kata Menag.
Turut mengantar Menteri Agama, Inspektur Jenderal Faisal, Direktur Jenderal Bimas Islam Kamaruddin Amin, Staf Ahli dan sejumlah pejabat Eselon II Kementerian Agama .
