PUBLIKAINDONESIA.COM, JAKARTA – Bank Indonesia (BI) akan meluncurkan Payment ID sistem identifikasi transaksi digital berbasis NIK (Nomor Induk Kependudukan) yang akan mulai diuji coba secara terbatas pada 17 Agustus 2025, bertepatan dengan peringatan HUT ke-80 RI.
Apa itu Payment ID?
Payment ID adalah kode unik alfanumerik (9 karakter) yang dihasilkan melalui proses hash dari NIK atau NPWP. Tujuannya adalah menghubungkan seluruh aktivitas keuangan digital satu individu mulai dari rekening bank, dompet digital, fintech, hingga pinjaman online in dalam satu identitas terenkripsi.
Mengapa Diperlukan?
- Untuk memperkuat integritas sistem pembayaran digital, memastikan semua transaksi terekam dalam satu sistem terpadu.
- Mendukung program subsidi dan bansos non tunai agar lebih tepat sasaran.
- Membantu memerangi praktik ilegal seperti pinjaman online ilegal dan judi daring dengan memantau pola transaksi mencurigakan.
Bagaimana Mekanismenya?
- Payment ID tetap menjaga privasi dan keamanan data sesuai UU Perlindungan Data Pribadi (UU PDP).
- Akses data bersifat berbasis consent, hanya diperbolehkan jika pemilik data memberikan persetujuan eksplisit misalnya saat pengajuan kredit, pengguna akan menerima notifikasi izin berbagi data.
Tahap Uji Coba & Implementasi
- 17 Agustus 2025 adalah kick-off untuk uji coba terbatas, khususnya pada distribusi bansos non-tunai.
- Implementasi penuh diperkirakan mencapai skala nasional secara bertahap hingga tahun 2029–2030 sebagai bagian dari Blueprint Sistem Pembayaran Indonesia (BSPI) 2030.
Siapa yang Akan Merasakan Manfaatnya?
- Masyarakat: mendapat kemudahan akses ke layanan keuangan, verifikasi lebih cepat, serta pengelolaan keuangan lebih transparan.
- Lembaga Kelembagaan: bank, fintech, dan penyelenggara pembayaran dapat melakukan analisis risiko dan profil kredit lebih akurat.
- Pemerintah dan BI: memperoleh alat baru untuk pengawasan keuangan, mendukung stabilitas sistem dan efektivitas kebijakan sosial.
Sejumlah pengamat menyampaikan kekhawatiran terhadap potensi penyalahgunaan data, terutama menyangkut ruang privasi masyarakat. Meski BI menyatakan sistem ini aman dan berbasis persetujuan, kritik terhadap transparansi teknis dan mekanisme enkripsi tetap muncul.
