PUBLIKAINDONESIA.COM, TABALONG – Tim panjat tebing Kabupaten Kotabaru kembali menunjukkan prestasi gemilang dalam ajang Kejuaraan Provinsi (Kejurprov) Panjat Tebing Kalimantan Selatan 2025 yang digelar di Kabupaten Tabalong.
Dari 13 kabupaten/kota yang ikut berkompetisi, Kotabaru berhasil memboyong total enam medali.
Rinciannya, Kotabaru meraih 2 medali emas, 3 medali perak, dan 1 medali perunggu, menegaskan eksistensi daerah ini sebagai salah satu kekuatan panjat tebing di Kalimantan Selatan.
Keberhasilan ini diraih lewat perjuangan 13 atlet yang telah menjalani latihan sejak Januari 2025, meskipun masih berlatih di fasilitas dinding panjat yang belum berstandar nasional.
“Meski sarana terbatas, kami tetap konsisten berlatih untuk mengharumkan nama daerah,” ujar salah satu perwakilan tim.
Capaian ini diharapkan menjadi perhatian serius bagi para pemangku kepentingan di Kabupaten Kotabaru untuk menyediakan fasilitas dinding panjat yang memenuhi standar nasional.
Fasilitas yang lebih memadai dinilai penting untuk menyetarakan kualitas pembinaan atlet dengan kabupaten lain, sekaligus mendukung persiapan menghadapi ajang-ajang penting seperti Pekan Olahraga Pelajar Daerah (POPDA).
“Prestasi ini adalah bukti kolaborasi semua pihak. Kami berharap dukungan berkelanjutan untuk mencetak lebih banyak prestasi ke depannya,” tambah perwakilan tim.
Dengan semangat #BerkaryaDiLuarBatas, tim panjat tebing Kotabaru membuktikan bahwa keterbatasan bukanlah penghalang untuk mengukir prestasi dan membawa nama daerah ke puncak kejayaan olahraga.
