PUBLIKAINDONESIA.COM, KOTABARU – Dalam rangkaian Pilkada Serentak 2024 digelar oleh Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Kotabaru pada Rabu malam (13/11/2024) di Gedung Basketball Kotabaru Jl. Veteran, Desa Dirgahayu, Kecamatan Pulau Laut Utara.
Polres Kotabaru mengerahkan satuan Samapta yang dipimpin langsung oleh Kasat Samapta AKP Pebe Supriadi, SE. Sebelum debat dimulai, seluruh area acara termasuk tempat duduk VIP dan ruang undangan, disterilisasi dengan menggunakan alat pendeteksi logam.
Kapolres Kotabaru AKBP Doli M. Tanjung, SIK, melalui Kasi Humas Polres Kotabaru IPTU Agus Riyanto, menegaskan bahwa langkah sterilisasi ini dilakukan guna mencegah terjadinya hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan selama berlangsungnya acara debat Calon.
“Ini merupakan prosedur yang wajib dilakukan untuk memastikan keamanan lokasi yang akan digunakan pada saat debat Calon Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Kabupaten Kotabaru,” ucap IPTU Agus.
Sebanyak 103 personel dari Polres Kotabaru dikerahkan, bekerja sama dengan sejumlah personel dari TNI Kodim 1004 Kotabaru dan Lanal Kotabaru. Kami telah mengantisipasi segala kemungkinan dan siap menjaga situasi agar tetap kondusif selama pelaksanaan debat Calon.
“Pengaturan lalu lintas juga menjadi perhatian, Rekayasa lalu lintas diterapkan di sejumlah persimpangan dan sekitar lokasi Gedung basketball Kotabaru untuk mencegah kemacetan, demi memastikan kelancaran akses bagi peserta, undangan, dan masyarakat yang melintas disekitar lokasi,” pungkasnya
