Latihan ini merupakan persiapan skuad Garuda, jelang pertandingan lanjutan putaran kegita babak kualifikasi Piala Dunia 2026 Zona Asia melawan Tiongkok.
Sesuai jadwal, pertandingan Timnas Indonesia vs China bakal berlangsung di Stadion Qingdao Youth Football pada Selasa 15 Oktober 2025 pukul 19.00 WIB.
Skuad Garuda kembali antusias serta berfokus mempersiapkan diri dan pelatih kepala Shin Tae-yong pun membagi sesi latihan pagi menjadi dua kelompok.
“Karena perjalanan lama, hampir sepuluh jam. Jadi hari ini latihan dibagi menjadi dua grup, untuk yang di hotel untuk pemain yang bertanding melawan Bahrain, mereka mendapatkan materi di pusat gym. Sedangkan pemain yang tidak bermain kemarin berlatih normal di lapangan,” ujar Shin Tae-yong seusai memimpin sesi latihan.
Untuk kondisi pemain, pelatih berusia 53 tahun tersebut mengatakan tak ada masalah berarti di tubuh tim. Hanya Jordi Amat dan Sandy Walsh yang mengalami cedera ringan dan akan kembali pulih dalam waktu dekat ini.
“Selain Jordi Amat dan Sandy Walsh yang mengalami cedera ringan, semuanya baik-baik saja. Kita hanya perlu beradaptasi dengan waktu dan cuaca, karena berbeda dengan yang sebelumnya,” tambahnya.
