PUBLIKAINDONESIA.COM, KOTABARU – Kepolisian Resor (Polres) Kotabaru melalui Satuan Pembinaan Masyarakat (Sat Binmas) kembali menggelar Gerakan Pangan Murah Polri sebagai wujud kepedulian terhadap masyarakat.
Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan pada Rabu (20/8/2025) ini menyasar warga di dua desa, yakni Desa Rampa dan Desa Dirgahayu.
Dipimpin langsung Kasat Binmas Polres Kotabaru IPTU Mujiyanto bersama enam personel, program ini menyediakan 100 sak beras untuk dijual dengan harga sangat terjangkau.
Sejak dibuka pukul 10.00 WITA, masyarakat langsung berbondong-bondong datang. Hanya dalam waktu singkat, 75 sak beras ludes terjual.
“Alhamdulillah kegiatan berjalan aman, tertib, dan lancar. Antusiasme masyarakat luar biasa, ini menandakan program seperti ini memang sangat dibutuhkan,” ujar IPTU Mujiyanto.
Sementara itu, 25 sak beras yang belum terjual akan disalurkan pada kegiatan serupa di kesempatan berikutnya, sehingga manfaat program ini bisa dirasakan lebih banyak warga.
Selain membantu kebutuhan pokok, kegiatan ini juga menjadi ajang mempererat silaturahmi antara aparat kepolisian dengan masyarakat. Suasana keakraban terlihat saat warga berinteraksi dengan personel Polres Kotabaru.
Gerakan Pangan Murah Polri sendiri merupakan salah satu program yang digagas untuk membantu meringankan beban ekonomi masyarakat, terutama di tengah naiknya harga kebutuhan pokok.
Kehadiran Polri dalam kegiatan sosial semacam ini diharapkan bisa memperkuat citra polisi sebagai pelindung, pengayom, dan sahabat masyarakat
