PUBLIKAINDONESIA.COM, GAZA – Otoritas Palestina di Gaza menyatakan telah menemukan pil Oxycodone, obat penghilang rasa sakit yang tergolong narkotika, di dalam kantong tepung terigu yang dikirim melalui titik distribusi bantuan yang dikelola Amerika Serikat.
Temuan tersebut diumumkan oleh Kantor Media Pemerintah Gaza pada Jumat (27/6/2025). Dalam pernyataannya, mereka menyebutkan bahwa pil-pil tersebut ditemukan oleh warga saat membuka paket bantuan pangan.
“Ada indikasi bahwa pil tersebut kemungkinan telah dicampur atau dilarutkan ke dalam tepung, yang menimbulkan kekhawatiran serius terhadap kesehatan masyarakat,” bunyi pernyataan tersebut.
Pihak otoritas menuduh bahwa insiden ini merupakan bentuk serangan tidak langsung terhadap masyarakat sipil, dan menyatakan bahwa Israel bertanggung jawab penuh atas insiden tersebut. Mereka menilai ini sebagai bagian dari “perang non-konvensional” yang bertujuan melemahkan ketahanan sosial dan moral masyarakat Palestina.
Pihak Israel belum mengeluarkan pernyataan resmi menanggapi tuduhan ini.
Distribusi bantuan melalui jalur yang dikelola Israel dan sekutu-sekutunya, termasuk AS, sebelumnya telah menuai kritik dari komunitas internasional. Beberapa organisasi kemanusiaan, termasuk PBB, menyatakan keberatan atas mekanisme distribusi bantuan alternatif yang menurut mereka melemahkan sistem distribusi yang netral dan aman.
Sementara itu, data dari Kementerian Kesehatan Gaza mencatat bahwa sejak 27 Mei, sedikitnya 549 warga Palestina tewas dan lebih dari 4.000 orang terluka akibat serangan yang terjadi di sekitar titik distribusi bantuan dan konvoi truk makanan yang dikelola PBB.
Israel terus melanjutkan serangannya ke wilayah Gaza sejak Oktober 2023. Menurut laporan resmi dari otoritas kesehatan Gaza, lebih dari 56.300 warga Palestina, sebagian besar perempuan dan anak-anak, telah menjadi korban jiwa selama konflik berlangsung.
Kasus ini juga menambah tekanan internasional terhadap Israel, yang saat ini menghadapi proses hukum di Mahkamah Internasional (ICJ) atas dugaan genosida, serta surat perintah penangkapan yang dikeluarkan Pengadilan Kriminal Internasional (ICC) terhadap Perdana Menteri Benjamin Netanyahu dan mantan Menteri Pertahanan Yoav Gallant atas tuduhan kejahatan perang.
