PUBLIKAINDONESIA, BANJARBARU– Lembaga Studi Visi Nusantara (LS VINUS) mengajak masyarakat Kota Banjarbaru untuk berpartisipasi dalam mengawal Pemungutan Suara Ulang (PSU) Pilkada 2025. PSU ini merupakan tindak lanjut dari keputusan Mahkamah Konstitusi terkait sengketa hasil Pilkada Kota Banjarbaru 2024.
Koordinator LS VINUS Kalimantan Selatan, Muhamad Arifin, menyampaikan bahwa PSU akan digelar pada 19 April 2025 di seluruh Tempat Pemungutan Suara (TPS) di Banjarbaru. Pemungutan suara kali ini akan menggunakan format pasangan calon tunggal dan diselenggarakan oleh Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan.
Sebagai lembaga pemantau pemilu terakreditasi, LS VINUS menegaskan pentingnya PSU sebagai bagian dari proses konstitusional.
“Kami mengimbau Masyarakat untuk menerima keputusan ini serta turut mengawal setiap tahapan agar pelaksanaan berjalan transparan dan demokratis.” Ujar Arifin.
LS VINUS juga mengapresiasi KPU Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan yang telah menyiapkan mekanisme untuk memastikan kelancaran PSU. Selain itu, warga diharapkan menggunakan hak pilihnya secara rasional agar hasil PSU benar-benar mencerminkan aspirasi politik masyarakat Banjarbaru.
Menurut LS VINUS, PSU ini menjadi momentum untuk mempertegas kontrak sosial dan politik antara masyarakat dengan pemimpin yang terpilih.
“Oleh karena itu, partisipasi aktif warga dinilai krusial dalam menentukan arah pembangunan Kota Banjarbaru.” Lanjutnya.
LS VINUS juga mendorong KPU dan Bawaslu Kalimantan Selatan untuk terus bersinergi dengan lembaga pemantau pemilu dalam meningkatkan pendidikan politik masyarakat.(FA)
