PUBLIKAINDONESIA, BATULICIN – Bupati Tanah Bumbu, Andi Rudi Latif, mengajak seluruh sekolah di wilayahnya untuk berpartisipasi aktif dalam gerakan peduli dan berbudaya lingkungan hidup.
Ajakan ini disampaikan dalam rangka memperingati Hari Peduli Sampah Nasional (HPSN) 2025, yang digelar di Desa Batulicin Irigasi, Kecamatan Karang Bintang, pada Jumat (14/3/2025).
Dalam sambutan yang dibacakan oleh Asisten Ekonomi dan Pembangunan, Eryanto Rais, Bupati menegaskan bahwa gerakan ini merupakan bagian dari visi dan misi daerah dalam mewujudkan Tanah Bumbu sebagai daerah hijau, bersih, dan berwawasan lingkungan.
“Program Sekolah Peduli dan Berbudaya Lingkungan Hidup (Sekolah Adiwiyata) yang kita dorong di Kabupaten Tanah Bumbu merupakan langkah strategis dalam membangun kesadaran lingkungan sejak dini,” ujar Bupati.
Akselerasi Sekolah Adiwiyata
Bupati menyebutkan bahwa gerakan ini telah berlangsung sejak 2008 dan terus berkembang. Hingga 2024, terdapat 58 sekolah Adiwiyata di Tanah Bumbu, dan pada 2025, jumlahnya bertambah 6 sekolah menjadi 64 sekolah. Targetnya, seluruh 341 sekolah di Tanah Bumbu, mulai dari tingkat dasar hingga menengah atas, dapat mengikuti program ini.
Sekolah Adiwiyata sendiri terbagi dalam beberapa kategori, yakni Sekolah Adiwiyata Kabupaten, Sekolah Adiwiyata Provinsi, Sekolah Adiwiyata Nasional, hingga Sekolah Adiwiyata Mandiri. Sekolah yang telah memperoleh predikat Adiwiyata diharapkan terus meningkatkan kepedulian lingkungan dengan menerapkan perilaku ramah lingkungan dalam berbagai aspek, seperti:
- Kebersihan dan sanitasi
- Pengelolaan sampah dengan prinsip 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle)
- Penghijauan sekolah dan konservasi air
- Konservasi energi dan inovasi lingkungan
Gerakan Bersama untuk Lingkungan Berkelanjutan
Selain mendorong pengelolaan lingkungan di sekolah, Bupati juga berharap agar materi tentang lingkungan hidup dapat lebih terintegrasi dalam kurikulum pendidikan. Tujuannya, agar para siswa tidak hanya memahami teori tentang lingkungan, tetapi juga mampu mengimplementasikannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.
“Untuk itu, saya mengajak seluruh elemen masyarakat, baik pemerintah, dunia pendidikan, dunia usaha, maupun masyarakat umum, untuk terus mendukung dan berperan aktif dalam gerakan ini,” tegasnya.
Peringatan HPSN dengan Aksi Nyata
Kegiatan sarasehan HPSN 2025 di Tanah Bumbu tidak hanya menjadi ajang diskusi, tetapi juga diisi dengan aksi nyata, seperti penanaman pohon dan penyerahan tempat sampah kepada perwakilan pelajar dari berbagai sekolah. Langkah ini diharapkan dapat menumbuhkan kepedulian sejak dini serta menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang bersih dan sehat.
Dengan semakin banyaknya sekolah yang berpartisipasi dalam program Adiwiyata, Tanah Bumbu semakin dekat dengan visi menjadi daerah yang hijau, bersih, dan berwawasan lingkungan.
