PUBLIKAINDONESIA.COM, JAKARTA – Koalisi Ojol Nasional (KON) menyatakan dengan tegas tidak akan ambil bagian dalam aksi demonstrasi yang direncanakan pada 20 Mei 2025.
Mereka menilai aksi tersebut bukan murni berasal dari aspirasi pengemudi ojek online, melainkan telah disusupi kepentingan politik tertentu.
Ketua Presidium KON, Andi Kristianto, mengatakan bahwa organisasi yang menaungi 295 komunitas ojol di seluruh Indonesia itu tetap konsisten memperjuangkan kesejahteraan mitra pengemudi, bukan ikut-ikutan turun ke jalan demi panggung politik.
“Kami tidak terlibat dan tidak mendukung aksi tersebut. Fokus kami adalah memperjuangkan kesejahteraan pengemudi secara konkret, bukan digunakan sebagai alat oleh pihak-pihak yang berkepentingan politik,” tegas Andi dalam keterangannya.
Ia juga membantah keras klaim bahwa 500 ribu pengemudi ojek online akan turun dalam aksi demo, seperti yang sempat disuarakan oleh pihak tertentu. Menurutnya, mayoritas mitra ojol justru memilih tetap bekerja untuk menghidupi keluarga mereka.
Lebih lanjut, KON menekankan pentingnya pelibatan komunitas pengemudi dalam perumusan kebijakan yang berdampak langsung pada mereka. KON juga menolak keras adanya keputusan sepihak, dan kembali menegaskan bahwa hubungan antara mitra ojol dan perusahaan aplikator adalah hubungan kemitraan, bukan hubungan kerja layaknya buruh dan perusahaan.
“Isu ojek online bukanlah alat politik. Kami mengimbau semua pihak untuk tidak membawa-bawa mitra ojol ke ranah politik praktis demi kepentingan sesaat,” tutup Andi.
