PUBLIKAINDONESIA.COM, BANTEN – Nasib malang menimpa Kani Dwi, staf media pribadi Presiden RI Prabowo Subianto. Ia menjadi korban penipuan asmara atau love scamming oleh seorang perempuan berinisial MR, yang menyamar sebagai pria berprofesi pilot dan menggunakan akun palsu di media sosial.
Direktur Reskrimsus Polda Banten, Kombes Pol Yudhis Wibisana, menjelaskan bahwa pelaku membuat akun Instagram palsu bernama @febrianalydrss_, dan mengaku sebagai pilot bernama Febrian. Hubungan antara pelaku dan korban bermula dari interaksi di kolom komentar Instagram.
“Pelaku menulis komentar ‘Salamin ke Pakwowo ya, Mbak’ di akun Instagram korban @kanidwi, yang dibalas oleh korban dengan sapaan ramah. Dari sanalah komunikasi mereka berlanjut secara intens melalui pesan langsung,” ujar Yudhis dalam keterangannya, Jumat (20/6/2025).
Seiring waktu, pelaku mulai menjalankan modus penipuan. Pada 1 Maret 2025, tersangka meminjam uang sebesar Rp 13 juta dengan alasan untuk membantu pengurusan administrasi sepupunya yang hendak bekerja melalui “orang dalam”.
Merasa percaya, korban pun mentransfer uang ke rekening BRI atas nama Indri Sintia yang diklaim sebagai pihak ketiga. Namun aksi tak berhenti di situ. Pada 27 April 2025, pelaku kembali meminjam uang sebesar Rp 35 juta, kali ini dengan dalih untuk biaya administrasi pelatihan kerja sebagai pilot di maskapai Emirates.
Total kerugian yang diderita korban mencapai Rp 48 juta.
Kecurigaan Kani Dwi mulai muncul saat ia berinisiatif mengecek alamat rumah yang diberikan pelaku di wilayah Lebak, Banten. Sebelumnya, korban pernah mengirimkan bunga ke alamat tersebut. Namun saat ia datang langsung ke lokasi, ternyata alamat tersebut fiktif dan tidak ditemukan keberadaan seseorang bernama Febrian.
Setelah menyadari menjadi korban love scam, Kani Dwi melaporkan kasus ini ke Polda Banten. Polisi kini telah mengidentifikasi pelaku sebagai MR, seorang perempuan yang diduga kuat melakukan penipuan dengan identitas palsu.
Kombes Yudhis menegaskan bahwa pihaknya tengah memproses penyidikan lebih lanjut terhadap pelaku, termasuk menelusuri aliran dana dan kemungkinan korban lainnya. Ia juga mengimbau masyarakat untuk lebih waspada terhadap hubungan daring, terutama ketika disertai permintaan pinjaman uang.
“Jangan mudah percaya pada sosok yang hanya dikenal lewat media sosial, apalagi sampai memberikan uang tanpa verifikasi jelas,” tutupnya.
