PUBLIKAINDONESIA.COM, BANJARBARU – Pergerakan penumpang dan barang di Kalimantan Selatan (Kalsel) pada April 2025 menunjukkan dinamika yang kontras antara sektor transportasi udara dan laut.
Data terbaru dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kalsel mengungkapkan bahwa meskipun terjadi peningkatan jumlah penumpang pesawat dibandingkan bulan sebelumnya, angka tahunan masih menunjukkan tren penurunan, sementara transportasi laut mengalami penurunan jumlah penumpang tetapi mencatat peningkatan signifikan dalam bongkar muat barang.
Kepala BPS Kalsel, Mukhamad Mukhanif, dalam keterangannya pada Senin (2/6), menjelaskan bahwa jumlah penumpang yang berangkat dari seluruh bandara di Kalsel pada April 2025 mencapai 126.429 orang.
Angka ini mengalami kenaikan tipis sebesar 1,88 persen dibandingkan Maret 2025 yang tercatat sebanyak 124.100 orang. Namun, jika dibandingkan dengan periode yang sama tahun lalu, terjadi penurunan signifikan sebesar 15,83 persen dari 150.202 orang.
“Jumlah penumpang berangkat meningkat dibanding bulan lalu, namun masih lebih rendah dibandingkan tahun sebelumnya,” ungkap Hanief, sapaan akrab Kepala BPS Kalsel.
Bandar Udara Syamsudin Noor di Banjarbaru menjadi penyumbang utama pergerakan penumpang, dengan total 124.747 penumpang berangkat pada April 2025, naik 1,62 persen dari bulan sebelumnya yang mencatat 122.763 orang.
Yang cukup mencolok, lanjut Hanief, adalah lonjakan jumlah penumpang yang datang melalui bandara di Kalsel.
“Jumlah penumpang yang datang melalui bandara di Provinsi Kalsel pada April 2025 naik sebesar 92,95 persen jika dibandingkan Maret 2025,” jelasnya. Tercatat sebanyak 173.849 penumpang datang pada April, naik drastis dari 90.101 orang pada bulan sebelumnya.
Sementara itu, tren berbeda terjadi pada transportasi laut antarpulau. Jumlah penumpang yang berangkat melalui pelabuhan di Kalsel tercatat menurun 13,33 persen, dari 19.416 orang pada Maret menjadi 16.828 orang pada April 2025.
Namun, aktivitas bongkar muat barang di pelabuhan menunjukkan kinerja yang positif. Total barang yang dimuat pada April 2025 mencapai 23.076.565 ton, melonjak 20,65 persen dibandingkan Maret 2025 (19.127.291 ton). Bahkan jika dibandingkan dengan April 2024, kenaikan mencapai 21,84 persen.
“Jumlah barang yang dimuat pada April 2025 naik sebesar 21,84 persen jika dibandingkan dengan April 2024,” tutur Hanief.
Data BPS ini mencerminkan gambaran kompleks pemulihan ekonomi di Kalsel. Sektor transportasi udara mulai menunjukkan tanda pemulihan, meski belum sepenuhnya menyamai kinerja tahun lalu.
Di sisi lain, sektor transportasi laut menunjukkan penurunan pada mobilitas manusia, namun justru mencatat peningkatan signifikan dalam pergerakan barang, menandakan aktivitas perdagangan dan logistik yang tetap bergeliat.
