PUBLIKAINDONESIA.COM, KOTABARU – Seorang pelajar perempuan berusia 16 tahun menjadi korban gigitan anjing liar di Desa Tanjung Nyiur, Kecamatan Pulau Sembilan, Kabupaten Kotabaru, pada Rabu malam (10/9/2025), sekitar pukul 20.00 WITA.
Korban berinisial F, siswi kelas 3 SMA, saat itu sedang dalam perjalanan menuju rumah neneknya di Kampung Gusung Karang RT 02. Namun saat menaiki tangga rumah, seekor anjing liar tiba-tiba menyerang dan menggigit bagian paha kanannya.
“Saat korban menaiki tangga rumah, tiba-tiba tanpa disadari langsung diterkam dan digigit oleh seekor anjing di paha kanan,” tulis laporan resmi Polsek Pulau Sembilan kepada Kapolres Kotabaru.
Dilarikan ke RSUD karena Tidak Ada Stok VAR
Korban sempat mendapatkan pertolongan pertama dari petugas Puskesmas Pulau Sembilan di Marabatuan, yakni Firmantus Sanjaya dan Masita, Am.Keb. Luka gigitan dibersihkan dan korban diberikan obat penghilang rasa sakit.
Sayangnya, Puskesmas setempat tidak memiliki stok vaksin anti-rabies (VAR). Akibatnya, korban harus dirujuk ke RSUD Kotabaru untuk penanganan lanjutan dan pemberian vaksin rabies.
Bukan Kejadian Pertama, Populasi Anjing Liar Meresahkan
Polsek Pulau Sembilan menegaskan bahwa ini bukan kali pertama warga menjadi korban serangan anjing liar. Populasi anjing liar di wilayah tersebut terus meningkat dan kerap memicu keresahan.
“Kejadian ini sudah beberapa kali terjadi, dan populasi anjing liar di Kecamatan Pulau Sembilan saat ini terus bertambah. Hal ini sangat meresahkan masyarakat,” tulis laporan polisi.
Dua saksi, yakni Rusdiansyah (42) ayah korban yang bekerja sebagai nelayan dan Siti Mainan (50), seorang ibu rumah tangga, turut memberikan keterangan kepada polisi terkait insiden tersebut.
