PUBLIKAINDONESIA.COM – Enam mahasiswa Program Studi Kebidanan Poltekkes Kemenkes Banjarmasin dari kelas Rekognisi Pembelajaran Lampau (RPL) Kabupaten Kotabaru mengadakan kegiatan edukasi terkait anemia pada ibu hamil di Desa Tegalredjo, Kecamatan Kelumpang Hilir, Kabupaten Kotabaru, pada Minggu (8/12/2024).
Dibimbing langsung oleh dosen Hj Erni Yuliastuti, SSiT., M.Kes, mahasiswa kelompok ini mengangkat tema pentingnya pencegahan anemia pada ibu hamil melalui gaya hidup sehat, konsumsi nutrisi yang tepat, serta senam prenatal yoga. Kegiatan ini turut diapresiasi oleh masyarakat dan Bidan Desa setempat.
“Kami berusaha menyampaikan materi edukasi yang relevan dengan permasalahan yang dihadapi ibu hamil di Desa Tegalredjo, yaitu anemia. Materi ini disampaikan dengan bahasa yang mudah dipahami, dilengkapi media seperti presentasi dan leaflet, serta praktik senam prenatal yoga,” ujar Isyatur Rakhmah, ketua kelompok sekaligus moderator acara.
Dalam pemaparannya, mahasiswa menjelaskan gejala anemia seperti 5L (lemah, letih, lesu, lunglai, lelah), pandangan kabur, hingga risiko kesehatan serius pada ibu dan bayi.
Dampak anemia dapat menyebabkan keguguran, kelahiran prematur, perdarahan, hingga bayi lahir dengan berat badan rendah (BBLR).
Materi yang disampaikan meliputi penyebab, gejala, dampak anemia, hingga cara pencegahan. Salah satu upaya sederhana yang diperkenalkan adalah pembuatan Susu Kurma, minuman kaya zat besi dan nutrisi.
“Minuman ini mudah dibuat. Cukup dengan mencampur susu UHT 200 ml dengan 3-5 biji kurma, kemudian diblender. Ibu-ibu yang hadir sangat antusias dan mengatakan akan mencobanya di rumah,” ujar salah satu mahasiswa, Vebry Erika Putri.
Kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan praktik senam prenatal yoga yang dipandu oleh Weni Rahmah Hayati, fasilitator bersertifikat. Yoga ini membantu meningkatkan kebugaran dan mengurangi stres selama kehamilan.
“Ibu-ibu merasa senang mengikuti kelas prenatal yoga ini. Mereka mengungkapkan manfaatnya untuk kesehatan fisik dan mental selama kehamilan,” ungkap Weni.
Bidan Desa Tegalredjo, Lilik, menyampaikan apresiasi atas kegiatan yang memberikan edukasi penting bagi ibu hamil.
“Informasi yang disampaikan sangat relevan dengan kebutuhan mereka. Saya berharap kegiatan ini terus berlanjut,” katanya.
Hj Erni Yuliastuti, dosen pembimbing, berharap kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan kesadaran ibu hamil tentang pentingnya pencegahan anemia.
“Dengan pemahaman yang baik, diharapkan ibu-ibu hamil dapat menerapkan gaya hidup sehat, mengonsumsi makanan bergizi, dan berolahraga secara teratur untuk mencegah anemia,” ujarnya.
Kegiatan ini menunjukkan komitmen mahasiswa Poltekkes Kemenkes Banjarmasin dalam mempromosikan kesehatan masyarakat, khususnya bagi ibu hamil di daerah pedesaan.
