PUBLIKAINDONESIA.COM, BANJARBARU – Polemik menyelimuti ajang Festival Literasi Banjarbaru ke-5 tahun 2025, khususnya dalam cabang lomba baca puisi tingkat SD/MI sederajat, setelah beredarnya pesan melalui WhatsApp yang menginformasikan adanya perubahan nominal hadiah yang akan diberikan kepada para juara.
Pesan tersebut dikirim menjelang hari penyerahan hadiah, dan langsung menimbulkan kekecewaan mendalam bagi para pemenang serta orang tua mereka.
Seorang peserta menyampaikan bahwa informasi awal mengenai besaran hadiah telah diumumkan secara resmi melalui poster dan media sosial milik panitia.
“Berdasarkan juknis dan informasi resmi, juara 1 akan mendapatkan Rp1.500.000, juara 2 sebesar Rp1.250.000, dan juara 3 senilai Rp1.000.000. Tapi sekarang tiba-tiba berubah tanpa pengumuman resmi,” keluh salah satu peserta lomba.
Namun, dalam pesan terbaru yang diterima para pemenang, panitia menyebut bahwa angka-angka tersebut adalah kesalahan salin dari lomba lain, yakni lomba pidato Bahasa Inggris dan Bahasa Arab yang memiliki alokasi anggaran berbeda.
“Saat proses administrasi dan penyusunan SPJ, ternyata anggaran yang tersedia untuk lomba baca puisi adalah: Juara 1 sebesar Rp750.000, juara 2 Rp600.000, juara 3 Rp500.000, dan juara favorit Rp500.000,” demikian isi pesan yang dikutip dari salah satu pemenang.
Kondisi ini memicu kekecewaan, terutama di kalangan orang tua peserta. Seorang wali murid yang enggan disebutkan namanya mengungkapkan bahwa anaknya sempat sangat antusias mengikuti lomba, namun kini kehilangan motivasi.
“Anak saya semangat sekali ikut lomba ini, apalagi sudah diumumkan menang. Hadiah itu bahkan sudah direncanakan untuk kebutuhan pribadinya. Tapi sekarang jadi kecewa dan kapok ikut lomba-lomba serupa,” ujarnya.
Hingga berita ini diterbitkan, belum ada klarifikasi resmi secara terbuka dari pihak panitia atau Dinas Arsip dan Perpustakaan Daerah Kota Banjarbaru terkait polemik ini.
Peserta dan orang tua berharap ada tanggung jawab dan transparansi dari penyelenggara agar kejadian serupa tidak terulang di masa mendatang.
