TANAH BUMBU, PUBLIKAINDONESIA – Upaya pencarian helikopter BK 117-D3 yang hilang di kawasan pegunungan Mangkilang, Kecamatan Mantewe, Kabupaten Tanah Bumbu, Kalimantan Selatan, sempat mengalami kendala. Sebuah drone jenis UAV-VTOL (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle – Vertical Take-Off and Landing) milik Dit Samapta Polda Kalsel mengalami insiden dan jatuh saat menjalankan misi pencarian, Rabu (3/9/2025).
Insiden tersebut terjadi ketika drone melakukan penerbangan di area terbuka KM 80 Desa Emil Baru, Kecamatan Mantewe, menuju titik koordinat yang ditetapkan Komite Nasional Keselamatan Transportasi (KNKT) sebagai lokasi diduga jatuhnya helikopter.
“Benar, salah satu alat pendukung kita, Drone UAV-VTOL Dit Samapta Polda Kalsel, mengalami insiden dan jatuh saat menjalankan misi pencarian,” ungkap Kabid Humas Polda Kalsel, Kombes Pol Adam Erwindi, Jumat (5/9/2025).
Meski demikian, Erwindi menegaskan insiden tersebut tidak menghentikan operasi pencarian. Tim gabungan yang terdiri dari kepolisian, Basarnas, TNI, dan relawan tetap melanjutkan upaya pencarian dengan intensitas tinggi melalui penyisiran darat maupun udara.
“Jatuhnya drone tidak menghambat proses pencarian. Fokus utama kita adalah menemukan helikopter BK 117-D3 beserta para korban,” tegasnya.
Dari informasi di lapangan, lokasi pencarian di sekitar titik jatuhnya helikopter dan drone memiliki kondisi cuaca yang berubah cepat serta gangguan medan magnet cukup besar, sehingga menambah tantangan bagi tim gabungan.
