PUBLIKAINDONESIA.COM, KOTABARU – Dalam upaya mendorong pemerataan pembangunan antar wilayah, Bupati Kotabaru, Muhammad Rusli, melakukan peninjauan langsung terhadap lahan seluas 4.000 hektar di Desa Tanjung Lalak, Kecamatan Pulau Laut Kepulauan, pada Jumat (30/05/2025).
Lahan tersebut direncanakan menjadi lokasi pembangunan kawasan layanan terpadu dan pusat pertumbuhan ekonomi baru di wilayah kepulauan.
Peninjauan ini merupakan bagian dari implementasi program 100 hari kerja Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Kotabaru, yang berfokus pada pembangunan berkeadilan dan transformasi ekonomi daerah.
Kawasan ini diharapkan menjadi sentra baru yang mendukung peningkatan pelayanan publik, pendidikan, kesehatan, hingga pelatihan keterampilan masyarakat.
“Lahan ini memiliki potensi strategis untuk menjadi pusat layanan terpadu dan penggerak ekonomi baru bagi masyarakat Pulau Laut Kepulauan,” ujar Bupati Muhammad Rusli di sela kunjungannya.
Rencana pembangunan kawasan ini mencakup sejumlah fasilitas penting, antara lain Sekolah Rakyat, Rumah Sakit Daerah, Balai Latihan Kerja (BLK), unit peternakan terpadu, lahan pertanian produktif, serta Lembaga Pemasyarakatan.
Seluruh infrastruktur ini diharapkan mampu mendekatkan layanan dasar kepada masyarakat yang selama ini masih terbatas aksesnya.
Turut mendampingi dalam peninjauan tersebut adalah perwakilan dari Bapperida, instansi teknis lainnya, serta sejumlah pejabat pemerintah daerah yang terkait dengan perencanaan pembangunan.
Bupati menegaskan bahwa pembangunan ini bukan hanya untuk memperluas pelayanan, tetapi juga menjadi langkah nyata dalam meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat di wilayah pedesaan dan kepulauan yang sebelumnya kurang terjangkau.
“Ini adalah bagian dari komitmen kami dalam mewujudkan pemerataan pembangunan dan menjadikan Kotabaru sebagai daerah yang maju, produktif, dan inklusif,” tambahnya.
Pemerintah daerah berharap kawasan layanan terpadu ini akan menjadi katalisator dalam mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal serta membuka lebih banyak lapangan kerja, seiring dengan peningkatan akses pendidikan dan kesehatan yang lebih layak bagi seluruh masyarakat Kotabaru.
