PUBLIKAINDONESIA.COM, BANJARMASIN – Pemerintah Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan melalui Dinas Pariwisata (Dispar) Kalsel menggelar Workshop Analisis Kekuatan dan Peluang Pariwisata (SISKAP) sebagai langkah strategis untuk meningkatkan kunjungan wisatawan ke Banua.
Kegiatan ini digelar pada Kamis (11/9/2025) dan diikuti oleh perwakilan Dinas Pariwisata dari 13 kabupaten/kota, serta berbagai asosiasi pelaku pariwisata, seperti PHRI, ASITA, HPI, ASTINDO, ASPPI, ASPPERWI, hingga Akademi Pariwisata Nasional Banjarmasin.
Potensi Besar, Tantangan Lebih Besar
Plt. Kepala Dinas Pariwisata Kalsel, Muhammad Syarifuddin, melalui Kabid Pemasaran Pariwisata, Muhammad Noor, menegaskan bahwa pariwisata merupakan salah satu pilar penting pembangunan daerah.
“Kalsel punya kekayaan alam, budaya, dan tradisi yang luar biasa. Tantangan kita adalah mengelolanya secara sinergis dan berkelanjutan agar bisa menarik wisatawan domestik dan mancanegara,” ujar Noor.
Workshop ini memfokuskan pembahasan pada pemetaan kekuatan, potensi, serta strategi pemasaran yang lebih terarah dan kompetitif. Hal ini penting untuk menjawab dinamika tren pariwisata global dan kebutuhan akan destinasi yang berkelanjutan.
Geopark Meratus Jadi Andalan
Menurut Abdul Karim Zaidan, Kepala Seksi Kerja Sama dan Kemitraan Dispar Kalsel, Kalimantan Selatan punya modal besar berupa UNESCO Global Geopark Meratus. Keberadaan geopark ini harus diangkat sebagai daya tarik unggulan oleh seluruh daerah.
“Kita sudah melakukan berbagai strategi promosi, baik nasional maupun internasional. Salah satunya lewat kerja sama dengan Provinsi Bali yang berdampak pada meningkatnya kunjungan wisatawan asing ke Kalsel,” jelas Zaidan.
Ia menyebut rata-rata wisatawan mancanegara kini menginap tiga malam di Kalsel dan menikmati berbagai atraksi wisata, mulai dari eksplorasi alam di Loksado, menyusuri Sungai Barito dengan kapal pinisi, hingga berbelanja oleh-oleh di CBS Kabupaten Banjar.
Siap Buka Jalur Internasional
Dispar Kalsel juga aktif membangun jaringan dengan negara tetangga melalui forum BIMP-EAGA (Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Filipina – East ASEAN Growth Area). Dalam waktu dekat, akan digelar pertemuan lanjutan untuk memperkuat promosi pariwisata Banua secara regional.
Tak hanya itu, Zaidan juga menyebut adanya rencana pembukaan penerbangan internasional rute Kalsel–Malaysia yang diharapkan bisa menjadi pintu masuk baru bagi wisatawan mancanegara.
“Dengan akses udara yang lebih luas, kita optimis jumlah kunjungan wisatawan ke Kalsel akan terus meningkat,” pungkasnya.
