PUBLIKAINDONESIA.COM, KOTABARU – Dalam upaya mencegah penyalahgunaan narkoba di kalangan masyarakat, Bhabinkamtibmas Desa Sarang Tiung, AIPTU Tony Situmorang, S.H., menggelar penyuluhan bertema bahaya narkoba, Kamis (03/07/2025) pukul 09.00 WITA, di Kantor Desa Sarang Tiung, Kecamatan Pulau Laut Sigam, Kabupaten Kotabaru.
Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh sejumlah pihak, antara lain perwakilan Kecamatan Pulau Laut Sigam Satriansyah, Kepala Desa Sarang Tiung M. Yohanies, para Ketua RT, serta pemuda setempat. Acara bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat, khususnya generasi muda, tentang dampak buruk penyalahgunaan narkoba.
Pemuda Diminta Jadi Garda Terdepan
Dalam penyampaiannya, AIPTU Tony mengingatkan bahwa narkoba tidak hanya merusak kesehatan dan masa depan, tapi juga menghancurkan lingkungan sosial dan berujung pada jerat hukum.
“Pemuda sebagai generasi penerus bangsa harus menjauhi pergaulan yang tidak sehat, serta memilih teman dan lingkungan yang positif,” tegasnya.
Ia juga mengajak para pemuda untuk menjadi pelopor gerakan anti-narkoba di lingkungan masing-masing, dan tidak ragu melapor jika menemukan penyalahgunaan narkotika.

Kegiatan ini disambut antusias oleh masyarakat. Salah satu peserta mengungkapkan bahwa penyuluhan seperti ini sangat penting, terutama untuk pemuda yang belum memahami sepenuhnya bahaya narkoba.
“Kami berharap kegiatan semacam ini terus dilanjutkan agar masyarakat semakin paham dan tidak terjerumus dalam penyalahgunaan narkoba,” ujarnya.
