PUBLIKAINDONESIA.COM, TANAH BUMBU – Bandara Internasional Bersujud di Batulicin, Kabupaten Tanah Bumbu, Kalimantan Selatan, mencetak sejarah baru dengan suksesnya uji coba pendaratan pesawat rute internasional dari Seletar, Singapura ke Batulicin, Indonesia, pada Sabtu (23/8).
Pesawat jenis Cessna Sovereign berhasil mendarat dengan status Landed Safely pada pukul 12.59 WITA, menandai keberhasilan uji coba penerbangan internasional pertama di bandara tersebut.
Bupati Tanah Bumbu, Andi Rudi Latif, A.Md.T, S.H, M.M, menyambut baik pencapaian ini dan menyatakan bahwa keberhasilan ini menjadi tonggak penting dalam pengembangan daerah.
“Alhamdulillah, kami menyambut baik suksesnya uji coba pendaratan pesawat rute internasional di Bandara Bersujud ini. Keberhasilan ini merupakan tonggak penting bagi daerah,” ujar Andi Rudi Latif.
Pemerintah Kabupaten Tanah Bumbu berharap keberhasilan ini menjadi awal dari dibukanya konektivitas internasional secara lebih luas, yang akan berdampak positif pada sektor pariwisata, investasi, dan pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal.
Bandara Bersujud kini bersiap menuju tahap operasional penuh untuk penerbangan internasional, sekaligus menjadi pintu gerbang baru bagi Kalimantan Selatan menuju pasar global.
