PUBLIKAINDONESIA.COM, BANJARBARU– Kapolda Kalimantan Selatan Irjen Pol Rosyanto Yudha Hermawan, S.I.K., S.H., M.H., memimpin langsung pengamanan aksi unjuk rasa yang digelar Aliansi Masyarakat Dayak Meratus di depan Kantor Sekretariat Daerah Provinsi Kalsel, Banjarbaru, Jumat (15/8/2025).
Aksi tersebut menolak rencana pemerintah mengubah status Pegunungan Meratus menjadi Taman Nasional. Massa yang berasal dari perwakilan masyarakat adat Dayak Meratus menilai kebijakan itu berpotensi mengancam hak ulayat dan kehidupan tradisional mereka.
Kapolda Kalsel menegaskan, pihaknya menjamin jalannya aksi tetap aman dan tertib.
“Kami mengedepankan dialog dan pendekatan humanis untuk menjaga ketertiban sekaligus melindungi hak masyarakat menyampaikan pendapat,” ujar Irjen Pol Rosyanto.
Polda Kalsel bersama stakeholder terkait juga memfasilitasi perwakilan demonstran untuk bertemu dengan Gubernur Kalimantan Selatan. Pertemuan tersebut menjadi ruang dialog untuk membahas aspirasi masyarakat, dan aksi berlangsung damai tanpa insiden.
Sementara itu, Gubernur Kalsel menyampaikan akan menindaklanjuti aspirasi masyarakat melalui kajian lebih mendalam dengan mempertimbangkan aspek ekologi, sosial, dan budaya.
